We are dedicated to providing great online shopping experiences and are on the lookout for a Senior Data Analyst to join us on this journey for our two Nordic marketplaces: CDON and Fyndiq.

About the role

As a Senior Data Analyst, you will play a key role in transforming how we leverage data to drive decision-making and optimize performance across our two marketplaces. Your focus will be on delivering insightful, data-driven analyses to support our growth in the Nordic markets.

This role combines strategic thinking with hands-on data analysis, requiring you to dive deep into large datasets to inform daily operations and long-term business strategies.

You will take full ownership of our visualization tool, Tableau, ensuring we deliver accessible insights across the organization. You are also given a great opportunity to broaden your reach, implementing robust data modeling practices in our data warehouse, enhancing data quality and scalability.

Responsibilities include

• Analysis and reporting: Analyze large datasets to provide insights on marketplace performance, customer behavior, and business trends. Develop and maintain dashboards and reports to track key performance indicators (KPIs) across traffic, sales, and customer engagement.
• Business deep-dives: Perform deep-dive analyses as needed to answer specific business questions and support data-driven decision-making across the organization.
• Support strategic initiatives: Partner with leadership to analyze and provide insights for strategic projects, including new business opportunities, product launches, and market expansion.
• Data warehouse development: Work towards improving our data warehouse, with a scalable dimensional model, aimed to ensure consistency, clarity and efficiency.
• Data quality management: Ensure the integrity, accuracy, and timeliness of data used for analysis, identifying and resolving any data quality issues.

Qualifications and requirements

• Bachelorʼs degree in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Physics, Computer Science, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
• 3+ years of experience in data analysis, business intelligence, or a related field, preferably within e-commerce, marketplaces, or retail
  
• Fluent in both English and Swedish

Technical skills:

• High proficiency in SQL.
• Proven experience in data visualization with Tableau. 
• Experience with dbt is a plus.

• Analytical mindset: Exceptional ability to interpret complex data sets, generate insights, and provide actionable recommendations.
• Visual storytelling: Strong ability to craft visually compelling and clear reports that not only convey complex data insights effectively but also engage the audience.
• Communication skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex data and insights to both technical and non- technical audiences.
• Detail-oriented: High attention to detail and accuracy in your work, ensuring data quality and consistency.
